We provide a fully-insured service for salvaging building materials from residential and commercial buildings.  This fast, friendly and affordable service saves materials from the landfill and provides donors with a donation receipt for a tax deduction. Donated materials are sold in the ReStore to raise funds for building Habitat homes in Durham and Orange Counties.  

Our services include:


Kitchen Strip: For a flat fee, professionally-trained staff carefully remove and haul away kitchen cabinetry and appliances, cap electrical wires, and clear away debris, leaving the kitchen ready for renovation. The demolition fee is determined on a case-by-case basis and can be up to $350, depending on the quality/quantity of the donations.

Material Removal: Staff and volunteers remove structurally-sound building materials from residential and commercial buildings undergoing extensive renovation or demolition. Materials removed might include hardwood floors, doors, windows, cabinetry, lighting, lumber, plumbing, hardware and architectural elements.
