DeConstruction

DeConstruction is the act of dismantling everything from a bathroom or kitchen to an entire house.

How does the DeConstruction Program fit into the mission of ReStore?

The DeConstruction Program is a program of the ReStore. The revenue from DeConstruction projects becomes income for the ReStore. The re-sellable materials salvaged from the projects become merchandise in the ReStore and are sold to contribute to the ReStore’s income as well.  Moreover, besides the income benefit for the ReStore, non-reusable materials from the projects are disposed of properly, and the work on DeConstruction sites is completed in an eco-friendly manner as to be in accordance with the ReStore’s mission to promote environmentally friendly practices. Such practices are not always in high consideration during other demolition work.
