What items do you pick up?

We pick up large appliances such as washers and dryers and furniture items such as couches and loveseats. We also will pick up other large items which meet our donation criteria. Please call the ReStore at (919) 403-8668 Option 2, or email us at donate@restoredurhamorange.org to discuss your pick up request.

Where do you pick-up?

We will pick up your large donation requests in Durham and Orange counties. For any other counties, please click this link to view a list of other local ReStore’s.

When do you pick up?

We pick up Monday – Saturday during normal business hours.

What is considered a Large Donation?

A large donation is anything too large to be transported to the ReStore by your vehicle AND that can be sold for significant value in order to offset our cost to pick it up. Examples are working refrigerators, bedroom sets (not the mattress or box spring), gently used jacuzzi, etc. Please call the ReStore to see whether your donated items qualify for a free pickup.
