With winter and approaching, now is a good time to get your garden and landscaping tools cleaned and organized for the colder months.
Cleaning your supplies will keep them from cracking or rusting during the fall/winter months. Taking some time on a Saturday morning will usually knock this quick project out.
- Donate anything that you didn't use this season such as planters, hand tools, gloves, etc.
- Throw away anything that is broken and unusable.
- Organize the remaining items which makes it easier (and more fun) to start the gardening next spring.
I love hanging yard tools on the wall with pegboard or large "U" hooks. We also made a yard tool holder at the Restore out of a filing cabinet!!
